Kathy's Shouts On Gay Rights

In reference to the recent North Carolina constutional ban vote: "I've been getting a lot of questions about this today. I'm sure you already know, but I'll just say it again. It's a disgrace. It's a civil rights issue. It's disappointing, but we continue on. All women, LGBT, minorities, any groups whose civil rights are threatened will continue to support each other." Facebook recently updated the system for Kathy's site into the new timeline format which will allow her facebook page to interface easier with you, the fans. Anderson Issues A Warning

There is nothing better than posting about Anderson Cooper, except when it is in reference to New Years and other events with Kathy. Below we find out why it might not be the best idea to give Kathy a key to your house.

This IS The Year

Kathy has been nominated for a GRAMMY for the third straight year for her album 50 & Not Pregnant. She goes up against Weird Al, Patton Oswalt, Louis CK and SNL's Lonely Island. The awards show will be held Feb 12th at 8pm on CBS.

Entertainer of the Year

We would like to thank the people at Out Magazine who have honored Kathy by making her Entertainer Of The Year.

The influential magazine recently held their Out 100 party. There Kathy was quoted (while talking about her work on the rights of the community) as jokingly saying "Now our next job is the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act...that's going to be the next frontier. It strengthens my stance against heterosexual marriage."

Lasik Revisited

Here's the deal. I've had severe complications from lasik surgery. My doctor WAS Dr. Robert Maloney of the Maloney Vision Institute in Los Angeles and Extreme Makeover. I will not be going to him again. I've had FIVE surgeries on my right eye. Three were lasik surgeries and one was an attempt at corrective surgery by Maloney. Most recently, I had another corrective surgery by another doctor and let me tell you, once my complications began in 2003, it was a bitch!
