Kathy Griffin Baits Grammy Voters With Second Comedy Album

Kathy Griffin is on the prowl for another Grammy nomination. She just released her second comedy album, "Suckin' It For the Holidays."

She released her first comedy album, "For Your Consideration," last year and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album. The late George Carlin took home the award for his final album, "It's Bad For Ya."

Griffin releases her album just days before the cut-off for Grammy nominations. There's something her and oft-mocked in her routine Whitney Houston have in common.

In "Suckin' It For the Holidays," Griffin takes about her wine-loving mother Maggie, meeting the target of many of her jokes Gayle King, and the women of Bravo's "Real Housewives." The album, which has a holiday-themed title and album cover but little reference to the holidays except the first track, is available at iTunes, AmazonMP3, and other digital outlets now.
