Huge fan - but this is about preventing breast cancer, not by raising $$$, but by telling people about recently rediscovered research saying that 50% of all cancers are caused by lack of Vitamin D.

It's been known and/or guessed to be true for 60 years, but never really publicized. Few scientists get a chance to have a live mike in front of them and a million people listening. I've tried Paris Hilton, I'm still trying Janeane Garafalo...

Here's the sweet spot - it requires no $$$, no further research, it isn't ten years away. All it needs is enough people twittering about it that it becomes common knowledge. Just mention it on a talk show, print it on T-shirts, make a joke about it (or me), and you get the karma of knowing breast cancer stats are improving because of what you've done.
