Does anyone know if Matt and Kathy are on again or off again...I do hope they're still together, they really compliment each other and who else gets Kathy the way Matt does...they're perfect together...

Kathy stated today on the Stern show that they are "technically" divorced, but that they are fully reconciled. They are together and happily in love.

Thank God they are back together! I saw her in Baltimore on June 1st and she did not mention the marriage/divorce. I think it is still "too fresh" to talk about.

She filed for divorce last fall, she never withdrew it, and it became final in mid-May with the assets divided according to the prenup. They're back together now and that's great! Now her money is entirely hers and she doesn't plan on getting married to anyone, even Matt, again. I still wonder if it had something to do with his gambling from his cell phone. Remember, she mentioned it in her standup routine about seeing Clay in Vegas.

But I believe in the saying (I think it was the wise old sage, Meg Ryan): Nobody knows what goes on in a marriage except the two people in it. Usually, not even them.

Why don't we just leave her love life out of it. Watever she is going through, it is very personal, she has alluded to it, but leave it at that. We
just saw her at the Nokia theatre last night, she is phenomenal! Leave it at that, appreciate her talent, support her career, stay out of the girl's marriage!!!!!!!!! =)

I just saw the appearance on the net tonight and MY GOD! Howard asks her about her and Matt, okay, I can see why he would.. She says she doesn't wanna talk about it but he just keeps BUGGING HER! And he gets more and more personal about it as she keeps saying that she'd rather discuss it another time! She could have just said "None of your damn business" but she threw him a bone and said "I don't wanna talk about it now, but I WILL come back and talk about it." That's cool of her, because she totally didn't even have to give him that, but that didn't even shut him up about it for a second! I felt so bad for her! And she kept trying to get Howard to take a hint by saying "Well when you and your wife split you didn't wanna talk about it, and neither do I."

I get that Howard's job is to make "quality" radio but that is a private matter and he should have done the right thing and respected her the first time she said she didn't care to discuss it and moved on. I mean, it's Kathy Griffin. You don't have to talk about sore subjects with her to make "good radio." Just let her talk. About anything! She has topics! She's not gonna let you down! Especially when she doesn't have to worry about editing herself!

I've never liked Howard Stern and this is just one of the reasons why. The only reason I saw the vid is because Kathy was on.

All that being said, I think she was very kind and she handled it very well. Kudos to her for that.

I have to completely disagree with you on Howard's style of interviewing.

Howard is a great interviewer. He asks all the questions people want to hear the answers to. I'm sick of watching interview shows with Oprah, Barbara Walters, etc., where everything is so well scripted. The previews always make it look like they are going to get down and dirty and get the scoop. But they never do. They'll ask "some" of the pressing questions, but then let it go after the canned response from the celeb, that everyone knows is a lie.

Howard doesn't do that. He wants answers. I have a feeling there's more to the Kathy/Matt thing that can be discussed right now. And that's completely Kathy's perogative to not share just yet. But I have no problem with Howard pressing the issues and trying to get answers.
