Jessica Zajicek

We all know Jessica from Kathy's Bravo series. With a smile she handles all of Kathy's scheduling and coordination. Whether being asked to make sure a flight is booked or to put on a costume to help train the dogs, she can always be counted on. It is simply amazing just how many contacts she handles every single day. Let's meet Jessica:

Jessica, what is your official job description?
I am one of Kathy's personal assistants. A key player in Team Griffin.

When and where did you meet Kathy for the first time?
The first time I met Kathy was in May 2004 I believe (I am horrible with dates) when I was hired to work for the day as a temp assistant. I went to her gigantic house that she had just moved into and was put to work immediately. I was hired at the end of the day to my delight as her permanent assistant and quit my job as an apprentice at a hair salon and have been here ever since.

What is the best part of your job?
The constant laughter. The constant new experiences and places and people. No two days are the same.

What is your least favorite part of your job?
Traveling takes a toll on me. I don't know how Kathy does it, but she does and I take my hat off to her. She is a champion trooper.

If someone made a movie about Kathy's life, who would you like to play you?
Me. I would like to play me. JK. I would say someone quirky....Drew Barrymore???? *shrugs*

Where did you grow up and go to school?
I moved around a lot (military family) and was constantly relocated, but I consider Arizona "home". I went to high school in Mesa and my Mom, Aunt and two Sisters, still live there in Mesa and Gilbert. I moved to LA when I was 18 to attend FIDM and have been here ever since. I hope to make Chicago or Boston my home some day in the future.

What are your favorite hobbies or TV shows?
I love to go dancing (I love music) and people watching. I could do it for hours upon hours. I also prefer sleeping to almost anything. As far as TV goes, I enjoy Friends, Reba, Miami Ink, Inked, 48 Hours, anything on Animal Planet, What About Brian, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Project Runway. That's all I can think of at the moment.

What is the craziest experience you've ever had while with Kathy
Every time I'm asked this I go blank. I think just being on the reality show is enough crazy experience to be deemed "the craziest."
